After the holidays some people love to keep up holiday decor for a few more weeks, but if you’re ready to take them down, put up some new decor to continue the celebration of the remaining winter months. Log Crate Decor

This log crate idea is perfect to use as decoration in a living room space, near the front door, or anywhere else in your apartment. This idea comes from Blue Roof Cabin. To make this you’ll need a group of log, a wooden crate, sprigs from a pine tree (whether real or artificial), and pinecones. For added interest, use some twinkle lights around the the crate or put electric tea light around the logs.


Wood & Burlap Natural Fall Wreath

As a decor piece to use on your door or anywhere inside your apartment, try out this wood and burlap wreath. The project comes from Finding Home Farms. To make this you’ll need thin wood discs cut from a log that are about 2.5 to 3 inches, wood glue, burlap, a round wood wreath, and then any other decor you want to add, such as branches, dried flowers, feathers, and more burlap.


Paper Towel Snowflakes

These snowflakes are so pretty and classy, despite being made out of paper towel and toilet paper rolls. This DIY comes from Cook’n with Mrs. G. To make these snowflakes you’ll need rolls from paper towels and toilet paper, a ruler, a pencil, scissors, a hot glue gun, paper clips, and spray paint in the color of your choice. These snowflakes can be hung on your walls in groups or used separately throughout the house.


Wooden Snowflake

This is a classy home decor piece that can serve you for years to come. This DIY comes from My Altered State. To make this you’ll need four boards that are 1 inch by 4 inches by 6 inches, a tape measure, a miter saw, a drill, a 3 inch bolt, wood glue, and a nail gun.
